Completed Comic-Con report is now online! I am going to restructure the reviews section of the website to make it easier to add/view reviews by the APA community.
Now that I have that finished, I'll be going to Japan Expo/Little Tokyo LA over Thanksgiving weekend with some APA club members. I will hopefully have a review of that too. Just hope that I can finish that one over the weekend.

I was going to change the front page layout but I just read the most inspirational email ever about the ILB/AnimePA Bees (bees bees bees). Therefore, I'll be keeping it up until one of the members beats Halo 2 in Legendary mode.
I never really wrote about my ILB experience on this webpage, but I'll say this: For those who chose not to open up and get involved because it would "take too much time" you really missed out. I gained so many friends from this experience and I am so thankful to the Hive and the Beekeepers for allowing me to be a part of this.

Insider information: Rumor has it that Nuri will not only finish her Comic-Con report this month, but might add some images to the DVD capture gallery as well.

Club meetings start this Friday, September 3. We are meeting weekly every Friday from 4-10 in University Hall 100. Updated the meeting page with the information. Just to let people know, I will be changed the email address for APA. I only can read so many messages and I am willing to bet I've looked over many important emails over time. We have a group of people taking care of these emails, and I hope that this will help everybody in the end.

I've been doing a lot of thinking lately. I have scans of spreads that I don't upload here because I thought I was a jerk for doing that. Upon further thought, I decided space on my hard drive is more important than being a jerk. In other words, from now on, I will be uploading unstitched spreads from magazines in addition to the unual single page-single images. If I do decide to stitch images together it will be on my own time and to the images I want! (Unless people ask nicely).
Also, if you haven't visted MiniTokyo yet, I suggest you do. I post many of the scans up there if I don't have enough images for a gallery here.

As you noticed, I've been working on a new front for the summer, and I also took down the Tapelist/Digital Library link. It was never kept up to date, and most of the stuff we're phasing out as tapes get horribly bad. I've been working a lot on the gallery... did you know we're almost to half a million hits on that page since March of this year? I'm so stoked. I never thought that anything I'd do would ever be popular ^_^ My last final for the semester was this afternoon, and seeing that really made my day. Thanks, everyone.

It's finals week and I don't know the status of the laptop -_- Oh well. I do have more time to work on the site, and I'm trying to do that in between work and summer school. Keep checking back! I've been working on adding the new galleries to the page of glory! I also added new links and a new desktop that a fan made for the site. Well, my laptop is officially toast, according to Sony. What laptop should I save up for? I'm thinking PowerBook, but... it's a Mac... but... I am an art person and thus a Mac is superior. Oh well, decisions, decisions. I still have the scans on my home computer, and I'm trying to figure out an efficient way to deal with uploading and updating.

Xebec in Scotland made the first non-Nuriko wallpaper hosted on this site! Thanks Xebec! I'm also doing a lot of updating on the gallery page, I'm closing at work today... and that's at 9pm. As of today, all the counters and last updated scripts on the individual pages will be funked up for awhile. The dates on the main gallery page ARE accurate however, so I suggest you refer to that for awhile. And for other news: I also added a new piece of Fan Art from a fan in Finland!

I know nothing much has happened recently... My friend just had her first baby so I've been a little busy trying to help her out as much as possible. The club also went to Japan Expo and my boyfriend is currently writing his review right now for the webpage. I have no ETA for when that will pop on the web :) We're out for Thanksgiving break right now, so I don't have the pleasure of extremely high speed internet, but I have the time to wait. Check the gallery page for updates, and have a great Thanksgiving weekend.
The server is being really slow tonight (2003.11.26) so I didn't get a chance to do much. I suggest the person that emailed me about a Gravion gallery check the front of the Image Gallery page... and yes, a gallery will be up for it as soon as the server behaves.

Last week, fires tore through San Diego County, where I live. My house was spared and so I feel thankful, but it kinda made me realize how much "stuff" I have. Many updates are to come these next few weeks and there will be no excuses... except papers :) Requests are still coming in and I am trying to get enough pics together to justify a gallery. If I haven't put up your request by now, chances are I don't have the material.
The giveaways are still happening. I think I will make it an ongoing giveaway until the club is disbanded. A lot of our school mail wasn't received for some time, and I have a slight backlog, but I've sent all the ones I've received to date.
I am also thinking through a new way to show the updated galleries so I don't have to make the front page so intensive. I'm testing it now, so check the gallery page (at the bottom)!

Most of my laptop is now recovered, and some of you may have noticed I changed a few directory names. Certain individuals were linking directly to images, so I 'fixed' it.
I added my (late) review of the San Diego Comic-Con to ~Sugoi Yo~ for anyone interested. I will be adding pictures to the album as soon as I find out where I have them backed up.

I might go to Anime Expo this year, because ABe will go there, and I would like to get some more 'insider information' for the TEX page (that I'm still working on finding subtitled episodes for).
This summer we will begin publishing The Cause, a monthly magazine for the anime community. It will include furoku, and will feature original art/manga/etc from volunteers. I don't know how we're going to publish it just yet, or how to distribute it properly, or even if it will cost anything. Please... PLEASE if you have ANY ideas or are interested in advertising or donating, email Nuriko. I don't mind starting small, but I'd like to reach at least an 8,000 circulation by December.

Because of server space problems, I deleted all the 150 DPI scans from all the galleries. This means more updates and uploading... until I fill up the space again. Clicking the wrong part of the image maps on some of the gallery pages may show an error, because I had to delete the pics before the links. I'm working on updating those as soon as possible, and while I'm working on the page I'll also add more images as a thank you for dealing with the BS. :)

Lessee.. they're still working on a solution for the webspace thing, so there's no new images still. I did do some text changes to the links page, but nothing too significant. There will be more rants by the end of this week... it seems to be a very popular part of the site, and I'm proud to participate in it. Also, when we get the webthing figured out, I will be adding two new major wings to the web, the DVD capture gallery and the quotes page... as well as some more artistic expression on the officers page. I also hope to have a section of the site dedicated to customizing computers... but that'll be some time down the road.

Until Further Notice, Anime Project Alliance will not be uploading any images to the AnimePA Web due to server problems. We have a lot of files that are already uploaded and will probably have galleries made out of them during this time, but don't expect things like... Chobits for awhile. The school server is over 90% capacity and because we're friends with the nice people over in Computing and Telecomm, we will be respecting their wishes to only do text updates and delete old unused files until a solution is reached.
This is not an advertisement or a plug for the club or anything, but donating either money towards a server or a server in general would be a really nice thing to do (tm).

I re-arranged the gallery by character/group to make it easier to find a particular person, but if this gallery ends up being as large as I'm thinking it's going to be, it may be the first of our gallery to have multiple pages.

Anime Project Alliance "Real Time Fundraising" project is now up and running! This is the newest and latest in a system to bring in a steady cash flow without breaking any laws. It replaced the former Support page... so I will be making changes to the new website to adapt to the people who may be interested in making donations.

Created the Chobits gallery and added to the Candidate for Goddess (Pilot Candidate) and Gravitation galleries today. The Candidate for Goddess update includes two images concerning Episode 13, the new OVA.

Do you have a LCD laptop or other high definition screen? I uploaded over 10 wallpapers today, most of which are for 1600 or below! I also made a high definition set of my Seven Days Series featuring Mizuho from Onegai Teacher. I also updated the Trigun gallery, and created the Vandread one too.

Nah, still ain't done JACK. Tonight is the last meeting of the semester, our "Party Night". It's not going to be too exciting, but anyone that goes tonight gets a free present on behalf of the club and Nuriko. We will probably hold those pesky "elections" tonight too, over a game of DDR Konamix. I'm still hammering out the bugs for the summer update, that will be up right after the beginning of June. Expect more wallpapers/desktops for higher resolution monitors.

First off, I wish to apologize for the lack of activity... it's almost finals week and we're all ragged. Here are the updates: Ah! My Goddess, Revolutionary Girl Utena, Galaxy Angel, Noir, and You're Under Arrest! I am doing a lot of work on ~Uguu~... I updated the anime gallery for Kanon as well as created the game gallery. Yes, the summer update on the main page will happen shortly, and it should be GREAT (if I can get the code right). I also added the Digital Library link that will now actually display the shows we're watching.

I added the Wild Adapter and R.O.D. (Read or Die) galleries, and I'm hoping to add To Heart and V Gundam (Turn-A-Gundam) sometime soon.
As for ~Uguu~, I am proud to say that I have finally watched all the series and I am hoping to have all the episode synopses up within a week, if not sooner. Allen let me borrow some of his Kanon things (he keeps the folder for it) so I can put them in the gallery. I think I might make a page for Kanon merchandise... but every time I go on Yahoo! Japan Auctions I get depressed because they have all this stuff I don't have... how sad.

I actually did a lot today, although it doesn't look it. I made it so every folder (I care about) has an index error page (we don't have 404 error pages... permissions... ;_;) so people can't just go to a directory and stuff :P You have to go through the same hell as everybody else!

Wondering why there have been no updates? We just got in 75 mags to process, and we just finished late last night. Expect a MAJOR revamp in the gallery sometime in the next week. I'm also trying to figure out what to put on the front of the page next. I'm also working on a poll to see what people think of my pink bunnies. Made a desktop of Mamimi from FLCL... colored her in myself, so if you use it give Nuriko credit :P I also took off the link for the Anime Web Turnpike until they get their server issues under control... also added a few more links to happy pages. I'm also working on a new index page to show the holiday spirit, as well as reflect the union between this page and John's Anime Desktops. I also created the Cowboy Bebop and Rurouni Kenshin pages in the gallery.

The background on the support page is actually original, because it's our magazines! (Proof I was cleaning). I created the Fushigi Yuugi page in the gallery. Made another desktop. After reading that Yami no Matsuei is bought, I finished going over all the titles on the tape list to see what else got bought when I wasn't looking... Wow. We need fansubs.

I finally got Office 2000 for my computer! Yay! That means I can use FrontPage 2000 to work on this page instead of lame 'ol '98. As some of you may have noticed, a lot of John's Anime Desktops are now hosted on the Anime Project Alliance page. I don't really know what I'm going to do to the front page to reflect this union of anime pages... but keep a lookout. *snore* I'm updating the tapelist today. Boring if you ask me. Added the bunnies to more pages. MUHAHA! Also edited this page to make it uber cool and longer so I can add more on the update page throughout the week. Yum, JavaScript goodness. (Hint: Hit the refresh button and look at the pretty picture. Another Hint: Click on it.) I also added a "Last Updated" script on the bottom of every page, so people won't have to dig through the past updates to see whether or not I worked on a particular page recently. The only drawback is that now all the pages say today even if I worked on them days ago. I guess I'll have to update all of then now, eh? How sad.

Well, I didn't get the computer, so I get to update the gallery today. I added in a few more titles, including Ayatsuri Sakon, Bakuretsu Hunter, Cowboy Bebop, Happy*Lesson, and Martian Successor Nadesico. As I'm digging around and finding a lot of things on all those series, I'm scanning and uploading a few pics to try to fill them out. Added 1 scan to Yu Yu Hakusho, 1 scan to Gatekeepers, 2 scans to Ah! My Goddess!, 2 scans to Sakura Wars, 5 scans to X, 8 scans to Card Captor Sakura and 9 scans to Di Gi Charat.
