Sayuri Kurata

Sayuri is Mai Kawasumi's best friend. She was raised in a strict environment and believed that because of it, she turned into a well manned young woman, and thus acted just like them. However, after a tragedy a few years ago she realized that she can make people happy by being a nice and sweet person.

Kuro

The rich Student Council President whom everybody kisses up to. He blames everything that happens to the school on Mai because she never denies any wrongdoing. He is always pressuring Sayuri to join the Council...

Akiko Minase

Naiyuki Minase's mother and aunt to Yuuichi Aizawa. She is a caring and gentle person. Akiko allows Yuuichi to stay in her house to attend school when his parents move to Africa. She is also a wonderful cook.

Nayuki Minase

Yuuichi's cousin who can't seem to wake up on time. She has a GIANT stuffed frog named Keropi. They attend class together and has no objection to living with Yuuichi. Naiyuki and Yuuichi were very close when he was in Japan seven years ago and really likes him...

Kaori Misaka

Yuuichi's ill-tempered classmate. When Yuuichi asked her about the girl with the same last name she acted harshly...

Shiori Misaka

Shiori is a freshman in high school, but never attends because she has a cold. She takes a ton of medication all the time...

Makoto Sawatari

Makoto lost her memory and lives in the Minase house. She is extremely childish and tries to play dumb pranks on Yuuichi. She likes to eat meatbuns and read his manga, and loves the sound of bells. Yuuichi finds a cat in town and decides to give it to Makoto... he names it Piroshiki (which is supposedly "meatbun" in Russian).

Ayu Tsukimiya

Ayu is a lost girl who wanders the town square stealing taiyaki (jam and pancakes in the shape of a fish). She never attends school and talks like a boy. Someone 'special to' her introduced taiyaki to Ayu seven years ago...
